Rating Review As noted in the PHRF Class Rules, a member may request a Rating Review. Ratings are reviewed at the Area level and at the Regional level. All requests for a Rating Review are initiated at the Area level. When coming to the PHRF Regional Board requesting a rating change/review for your boat please provide (in addition to the completed Request for Rating Review form) as much of the following information as practicable: Complete race history (the good and the bad) of at least 5 races. Then "digest" the race history (suggest an Excel type spreadsheet) that shows how your boat finished in each race, then how the finishes would have changed if the rating were adjusted 3, 6, 9 or 12 sec/mile. Pictures, drawings, brochures or other pertinent information on the boat (especially the underbody including hull, keel and rudder). VPP (IMS, AMERICAP, IMS, IOR, etc.) comparisons if such information is available. Click on the link below to open/download the official Request for Rating Review format. |
